I have another letter from the union.
I hand-delivered my reply on Monday morning. This was mailed, I expect, Wednesday. It's never a good thing when a large organisation moves that quickly.
I'm fretting because I don't have it yet, so I don't know what's in it; I received the notice of delivery yesterday, but even as of 1pm today the letter was not at the postal counter, despite the notice saying it should be there as of 5pm yesterday. (In fact, the counter clerk told me there had been no deliveries at all today, and she dreads the mountain of stuff eventually coming in.)
The only other person I know who had the first letter from teh union hasn't checked their mail, so they don't know if they have one as well. Guh.
It better be there tonight.
(There is no other explanation for a "letter" that could't be left in my mailbox. It means Registered. And that means the union, no one else has any reason to send me one, whereas they have several.)
